Strengthening Our Partnership: Training the Kcell Team on Eastwind Products

For the third year in a row, the Eastwind team conducted its annual training for employees of the mobile operator Kcell. We're proud to continue this tradition of knowledge sharing, helping our partners make the most of our solutions while refining them to meet the evolving needs of their customers.

About the Client
Kcell is a mobile network operator in Kazakhstan with a subscriber base of around 8 million users. Since 2014, Eastwind has been providing the company with solutions for managing marketing communications.


Kcell, the mobile operator, has implemented several Eastwind products: In addition, we provide Kcell with a service for building a 360º customer profile based on subscriber interaction history, activities, interests, and other parameters.

The training took place from June 23 to 27 and was attended by Kcell’s technical specialists who maintain the Eastwind solutions, as well as the operator’s CVM team.

To ensure the training was as productive as possible, we first asked our colleagues at Kcell to share the topics and issues they were most interested in. Based on their feedback, we tailored the training program accordingly.

The training was divided into four modules:

EW AdTarget — we reviewed the system architecture, integration with monitoring systems, authorization, and databases. We also shared best practices for building new marketing campaigns and optimizing existing ones.
EW SMS Center — this session provided a technical overview of the platform architecture and guidance on working with services and logs.
Data Management — we introduced tools and technologies for data processing, with a detailed focus on the models currently used by Kcell.
EW Navigator — we covered configuration management, report generation, call flow development, and integration with external systems. The session concluded with a hands-on practical exercise.

This time, the group was small—just four specialists—which allowed for a nearly one-on-one training format. As a result, we were able to focus more closely on the specific needs of the Kcell team and address their real-world challenges.


At the end of the training, participants received certificates of advanced training and commemorative gifts

During the training, we also discussed product development with the Kcell specialists. Eastwind experts presented ideas for enhancing our solutions based on Kcell’s specific needs.

The Kcell team was very pleased with the training. Participants highlighted the “warm welcome, the high level of expertise from the Eastwind team, and their willingness to answer all our questions.”
