Beeline Kazakhstan chooses Eastwind’s Call Filtering product
8 july 2015
The Call Filtering system will allow the Kazakh operator to offer the service of “white lists” and “black lists” of telephone numbers. With its help, a user can filter incoming undesired calls, as well as outgoing ones – the system can prohibit calls to certain numbers.
According to the tender terms, the Call Filtering Service must provide Beeline Kazakhstan customers with flexible options to work with black and white lists: quick management of the lists, creation of groups within the lists, operations with voice calls and SMS. When formulating its tender requirements, Beeline Kazakhstan had emphasized the capability to set list filtering rules with a wide range of parameters. For example, a subscriber can block incoming voice calls for a group of numbers but allow SMS, or vice versa. Furthermore, the system enables SMS filtering, including by text content (e.g., ban on explicit language).
The solution Eastwind has suggested for the tender not only effectively copes with the incoming calls filtering task set by Beeline Kazakhstan, but can serve as a comprehensive instrument to restrict inbound and outbound connectivity. As such, the service will be of help to individuals (e.g., to restrict children’s access to “adult” numbers) and corporate users providing mobile connectivity to their employees.
