Sky Mobile Rolls Out Eastwind’s Campaign Management Platform

Why Sky Mobile Chose to Switch Campaign Management Platforms
Sky Mobile, like the rest of the VEON Ltd. group, originally used a different system to manage its marketing communications. But as the company’s needs grew, it became clear that a more advanced solution was required. That’s when Sky Mobile decided to look for a new campaign management platform and launched a competitive tender.Eastwind was invited to take part on October 27, 2023, and just under two months later, on December 21, we were selected as the winner.
“We chose Eastwind for its user-friendly interface and robust functionality when it comes to audience segmentation and launching marketing campaigns. It was important for us to find a partner who could offer more than just a tool—someone flexible, open to new challenges, and capable of addressing our specific requirements during the integration phase.
Our expectations were fully met. The Eastwind team is quick to respond to changes, attentive to our needs, and able to tailor their solutions to our business goals.”

When searching for a new vendor, Sky Mobile had a clear set of priorities:
- A ready-to-use campaign manager with the ability to generate Next Best Offers (NBOs)—personalized recommendations based on behavioral and contextual data
- A fixed cost for licensing and technical support for several years ahead
- The ability to fully integrate the solution within a year
Eastwind checked all the boxes. As part of the deal, Sky Mobile received:
- A fixed price for the platform and technical support for five years
- Free support during the first year
- A fast rollout of the core functionality, with the flexibility to expand step by step under the same contract
Later, Sky Mobile asked to add new capabilities that weren’t originally included in the technical specs, such as building an online subscriber profile. Understanding how important this was to the client, we made the decision to implement it within the existing agreement.
What We're Rolling Out at Sky Mobile
The project includes the deployment of two key solutions:
- EW AdTarget—a campaign management tool that automates marketing campaigns and delivers personalized offers to subscribers
- EW Navigator—a platform for consistent, omnichannel customer engagement
With a tight one-year deadline for the migration, we kicked off the integration process even before the contract was formally signed to keep things on track.
How the Implementation Is Going
Even with a tight schedule, we managed to launch the core features of EW AdTarget by December 2024. We also supported Sky Mobile in migrating all their existing campaigns from the old platform, so they could start running marketing activities on the new system right away. Some features, including Next Best Offer (NBO), are still being rolled out. The full launch is on track to be completed by June 2025.
But implementing a campaign manager is only part of the equation. It’s just as important to use it effectively. That’s why, throughout the process, we’ve been sharing proven strategies and real-life use cases to help the Sky Mobile team build strong workflows and run campaigns that deliver results.
