WMC 2017: The Way the Wind Blows
29 march 2017
On February 27 – March 2, the sunny Barcelona hosted the annual World Mobile Congress with the overwhelming 108,000 attendees from 2,300 organizations from 208 countries of the world. A regular of the event, Eastwind went to Spain to share expertise and see “which way the wind blows” in the world of innovation and technology.
Roman Vasilyev and Yulia Spakhova were searching for insights and the delegation was lead by Boris Bubnov. Our team brought ideas aplenty and a fact-based picture of where the mobile world is moving to. Fresh information received firsthand, many interesting operators, attractive joint projects – this is what makes the Congress participation so valuable and effective.
Apart from ideas sharing with the figures of the telecom world, Eastwind was busy presenting its renovated portfolio to operators from CIS, Asia and Middle East. Most importantly, we showed operators our working cases to monetize Big Data, effective customer analysis tools, and the Polyphone messenger. Along with good news and new leads, the team have brought back a motivation charge for the entire company.
To our Russian colleagues, we want to say: “Do not be afraid of going outside the borders of routine! From our own experience, it’s the broader outside-the-box thinking that allows us to be confident competing with the world’s best software vendors.”
